Hundred Hills School is a developing Waldorf-Inspired initiative nestled in the heart of California’s Santa Ynez Valley. We are seeking an early childhood assistant who delights in working with young children, values slow and intentional education, and understands that doing ordinary things each day leaves an extraordinary impression on a child’s developing heart, body, and mind.
In this assisting role, the responsibilities will be;
Supporting the lead teacher.
Having a warm, calm and nurturing presence.
Assisting with indoor and outdoor play, nature walks, gardening, and seasonal activities.
Preparing and serving wholesome snacks and meals.
Supporting the children with transitions, self-care routines, toileting, dressing, mealtimes and times for rest.
