Our School
Hundred Hills School is a private, nonprofit, co-educational, day school for students in Preschool through Grade 8. The school’s mission is to cultivate each child’s intrinsic human value to set them on the path toward a purpose-driven life. Our curriculum is wholly inspired by the Waldorf pedagogy, which is developmentally appropriate, academically rigorous, and experiential.
Hundred Hills was founded by passionate parents and philanthropists, Whitney Stevenson Chanana and Sundeep Chanana. The school has assembled a tenured faculty of Waldorf-trained educators who are excited to be creating something without compromises, something special.
Designed from the ground up to serve elementary students, the Hundred Hills campus embodies the school’s commitment to experiential, developmentally-aligned education and provides a setting where children can grow intellectually, artistically, and socially with purpose.
The Pedagogy
We believe a Waldorf-inspired education is more essential than ever in preparing children for a future that will reward those who can think, create, act, and make decisions with creativity, context, and critical insight.
This philosophy comes to life through a curriculum that balances academic rigor with rich experiential and kinesthetic learning. By weaving the arts and physical movement into core academic subjects, students engage deeply with literacy and numeracy, bringing concepts from foundational to complex vividly to life.
