Parent Child Classes
At the heart of our Parent Child program is a desire to support parents in deepening their confidence, strengthening their parenting tools, and cultivating a joyful, nourishing home life. Together, we will build a class community grounded in meaningful, purposeful work that fosters self-esteem and encourages mindful, connected parenting.
Our peaceful, nurturing environment invites both children and parents to grow from within. By simply being present, observing and participating, parents often find themselves inspired, and more connected to their child and to the class community.
The classes are designed to be a safe, welcoming space for both parents children as well as a calm, gentle haven for children where play is honored as a child’s true work. Parents are invited to slow down, exhale, and witness the quiet beauty of their child’s development. Through shared conversation, we will explore topics such as family rhythms, imaginative play, loving discipline, and the beauty of simplicity which supports building a strong family culture.
No prior knowledge of Waldorf education is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to be present. All are welcome.
Current Class Offerings
“The foundation of your family’s early childhood experience” for ages 15 months - 3 years
In this nurturing weekly gathering, parents and their children are invited into an environment where rhythm, reverence, and ritual will gently guide our time together. Rooted in the principles of Waldorf education, this class offers a peaceful and predictable rhythm where young children can explore through imitation, movement, and imaginative play.
The classes are the foundation of your family’s Waldorf early childhood experience. They are rooted in wonder and held by rhythm.
Rooted in Wonder
A 4-Week Journey for parents and their children ages 2 - 6 of Crafting, Rhythm & Connection
Join us for a joy-filled, nourishing 4-week crafting circle inspired by the beauty and rhythm of the natural world. Rooted in Waldorf-inspired principles, this series invites you to slow down, create with your hands, and connect with your child and the season through simple creations you will create together.
Each week, we will gather to make a seasonal craft using natural materials such as wool, felt, beeswax, wood, and other materials. As we craft, we’ll share songs, stories, verses, and conversation centered around Waldorf education and parenting.
No crafting experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Crafts will be chosen to reflect and connect your child and you with the season, as well as something to bring beauty and meaning into your home.
